This tour is specially designed for those travellers who are interested in exploring the heritage sites of Khajuraho & Varanasi, also want to visit the Holi river Gangesh during their Golden Triangle tour. Your tour will start from Delhi – the capital city of India and then you will proceed to explore the world heritage – Taj Mahal and visit the Colourful Jaipur city of Rajasthan and then proceed to explore the temple sites of Varanasi & Khajuraho city
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
At your Delhi airport arrival, you will be welcome by one of our representative,who will transfer you to the pre booked hotel. You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel get fresh and take some rest. Then visit President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan temple,Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. Later at evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. the Red fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years. After dinner overnight stay at hotel
Day 02 – Delhi – Jaipur
On second day of your tour after breakfast visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch proceed to Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building colour. At arrival check in to the hotel. You can have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 – Jaipur
After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous city Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, so named because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. Visit Jantar Mantar and at evening visit Jal Mahal. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 04 – Jaipur – Agra
After breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles . Enroute you will visit Fatehpur sikiri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. At arrival you will check in to the hotel. Evening you will visit the world famous Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river of Agra city, a UNESCO World Heritage site was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj, which is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks more beautiful at Sunset. Then later on you can visit the local market and buy some local handicrafts for your family and friends. Have your dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city. After dinner overnight stay at hotel Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05 – Agra
Early morning, you will visit the beautiful Taj Mahal at Sunrise to experience the stunning sunrise view of the monument. There you can spend an hours time, taking photographs and relaxing in the lush green garden of Taj Mahal. After breakfast you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, the houses of a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days of life imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, people also refer it as Baby Taj Mahal because it is similar to Minars. Evening visit local markets and buy some local handicrafts for your family and friends. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 06 – Agra – Orcha – Khajuraho
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra railway station to board your train to Jhansi. Upon your arrival at Jhansi railway station meet by our representative who will take you to Khajuraho, on the way visit Orcha temple, Forts & Mahals proceed to Khajuraho. At arrival Khajuraho check in to hotel. Stay overnight after dinner.
Day 07 – Khajuraho – Varanasi
After breakfast visit Khajuraho city sightseeing. Khajuraho is the famous pilgrimage place of Hindu community where temples are having some great artistic architecture. You can also participate in the Pooja ceremony that is been practice here at temples. After lunch catch your flight to Varanasi, at arrival varanasi airport our representative will transfer you to hotel. Evening free to spent on your own. Have dinner and night stay.
Day 08 – Varanasi
Varanasi is a Holi city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh dating to the 11th century B.C. Today Morning proceed for boat ride at river Ganga. After Breakfast visit Tuli Manas Temple, Durga devi temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Vanaras Hindu University, after lunch excursion to Sarnath – the very place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Must-see places in Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, Buddhist temples, the archaeological museum. Evening visit Ganga ghat to attend the Aarti ceremony. Stay overnight after dinner.
Day 09 – Varanasi – Delhi
The last day of your tour, after breakfast check out the hotel. We will drop you at Varanasi airport to catch your flight to Delhi, from Delhi catch your International flight to back home.
