Travelling with your family can be a stressful time, especially when the tour you have chosen doesn’t properly cater for the needs of your family. Our Nepal family tours have been specially designed for families who want to see the spectacular scenery in Nepal, to experience and learn about the local culture, and to enjoy some adventurous activities. We always run these tours on a private basis or as part of a group of families so that you don’t feel left out or out of place.

This tour has been specifically designed for families that want to bring their children to Nepal for an exciting tour that combines some adventurous activities with a few visits to exotic temples and cultural sites. We include Hindhu ; Buddhist temples in Kathmandu, an Annapurna camping trek, some easy white water rafting and wildlife viewing in Chitwan National Park. Day 01:-Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel

Arrive Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our representative. Please look for signage with your name once you come out of Arrival Terminal Hall after collecting your luggage. You will be escorted by our representative to the hotel

Welcome to Kathmandu, capital of the ancient Mountain Kingdom of Nepal. Kathmandu has the air of a medieval city with a maze of narrow streets, wooden temples and beautifully decorated palaces.

Upon arrival at the hotel, guest will be provided welcome drinks along with the room key.

In the evening we will organize a Welcome Dinner at a traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy a Nepalese cultural program as well as a fine local Nepali meal.

Day 2: In Kathmandu

After breakfast we have arranged a walking tour, visiting the bazaar and temples of old Kathmandu in accompanying of local a Nepali guide. Nepal’s bustling capital is a captivating mix of spice sellers and potters, rickshaws and sacred cows, all crowded together amidst a city of vibrant noise and color. Today we visit 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our sightseeing this morning takes in the sumptuous majesty of Durbar Square and its collection of ornate palaces, courtyards and temples, as well as the Ason Bazaar and the Kumari Ghar, home to the living goddess of the Kumari Devi.

This afternoon you will visit the temple of Pashupatinath on the banks of Bagmati River, the oldest and holiest shrine in Nepal, regarded by many as the most revered temple of Shivaon the planet. The ghats are regularly swamped by pilgrims bathing in the waters and this area is one of the city’s most important cremation areas, where both royalty and the common people have their ashes sprinkled on the waters of Bagmati, to make their way downriver towards the sacred Ganges. Returning to the city, we then pay a visit to the Stupa of Boudhanath, one of the city’s most dominating monuments and one of the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal. It is also called Little Tibet

Day 3: Half-day tour. Fly to Pokhara

After breakfast, you will be driven in a private vehicle to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu Airport for flight to Pokhara (25 minutes flight). During the flight, we get to savor the most mesmerizing views of the magnificent 8000 meter Mount Manaslu and the snow-capped Annapurna mountain range. Soon after touchdown in Pokhara

Arrive Pokhara and transfer to your hotel in Pokhara
Pokhara is situated at an elevation of 915m above sea level. The richness of valley in pure natural beauty is indeed one of the main attractions to the visitors from all over the world. Just imagine the joy of observing the majestic Himalayas, three peaks above 8000m from an elevation of below 1000m within a very close aerial, distance. The valley is equally superb giving as they do elevated close-ups to the snowy peaks. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence summits like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) (6977m) and the five peaks of Annapurna range rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic.

Afternoon, you will be taken to Phewa Lake for boat ride (approx 1 hr) including visit of Barahi Temple.

Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in the country, is the center of all attraction in Pokhara. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. The Barahi Temple is the most important monument in Pokhara; built almost in the center of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector deity representing the female force Shakti.

Lakeside-The eastern shore of Phewa Lake, popularly known as lakeside or Baidam, is the favorite home base for travelers and is where most of the hotels, restaurants and handicraft shops are located.

 Day 4: Pokhara – Trekking

Today, we begin our 3-day camping trek in the beautiful Annapurna region of the Himalayas. After being introduced to the porters and cooks, a bus will take us to Dam Head from where we start trekking on to Bhumdi (1500m), which is where we will camp on the first night.

Day 5:Trek to Panchase Bhanjjang

 Day 6: Climb Panchase Hill. Trek to Bhaduri

This morning you have the opportunity to make the climb up to Panchase Hill (2500m) for an even better view of the nearby peaks of which include Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Manaslu (8156m). After lunch, we follow the trail down to Bhaduri where we spend our last night camping.

Day 7: Finish trekking, return to Pokhara

Our short camping trek ends today with an easy walk down to Naudanda where your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the town of Pokhara. The afternoon is free to wander the town or to rest any tired legs!

Day 8: Cycling trip to Devi Falls & Shiva Cave. Free afternoon

Today begins with a short cycling trip to the local tourist attractions of the legendary Devi Falls and the important local religious site at the Shiva Caves. The afternoon is free to enjoy Pokhara or take a rowing boat out on to the lake or browse the local stores.

Day 9:Drive to Bandipur and explore the village. School visit
This morning we leave Pokhara behind as we start the drive to the town of Bandipur. Bandipur is an ancient trading town with stone-paved streets, temples and an interesting old bazaar which we pass on the way to your hotel. In the afternoon, we arrange a visit to a local Nepalese school, including a relaxed English/Nepali language class.

Day 10: White Water Rafting. Drive to Chitwan National Park

After enjoying a beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas, we leave Bandipur and head to our put-in point on the Trisuli River, where you have the chance to experience some white-water rafting on a moderate grade. We include all equipment and instruction is given while in the water. Note – If you prefer not to take part in the rafting, we do offer alternatives! In the afternoon, we make the drive to Chitwan National Park, which is located in the southern Terai region.

Day 11: Chitwan National Park -Safari activities

You have an early breakfast today before beginning your activities in the Park with a jungle walk or jeep safari, followed by an Elephant back safari in the afternoon. Over the next two days you’ll have the chance to explore the jungles and look for all kinds of animals including Rhinos, Sloth bears, Crocodiles and the elusive Tiger. In the evening, we talk a short walk to one of the nearby Tharu villages for a close-up look on local life here.

Day 12: Safari activities. Return to Kathmandu

Today begins with a canoe trip on the gentle Rapti River – try and spot the many different birds or two breeds of crocodiles that live in and around the river. We then include a visit to the local and important Elephant breeding centre where you have the opportunity to learn more about these incredible creatures. In the afternoon we make the trip back to Kathmandu by private vehicle.

Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu

Today has been left as a free day for you to explore Kathmandu on your own, stock up on souvenirs or try any of our extra tour options such as the Everest Mountain flight, or a trip to Patan & Bhaktapur. In the evening, we will help arrange a farewell dinner for you.

Day 14: Depart Kathmandu

Transfer to airport for final departure

You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We hope you enjoyed the tour with us and we expect that you plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal again.Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight time, our representative will transfer you to the airport.
